Transmitters (Non – Isolated)

Introduction

Transmitters are ideal for all process control applications where temperature signal needs to be transmitted over long distances for indicating, controlling, recording or computerized data analysis. Transmitter suppliers employ 2 wire design technique, which means that the instrument output current signal and power supply are both drawn on the same 2 wires. The major advantage to a transmitter supplier is that the current output signal is highly immune to line resistance and noise, thereby eliminating the need for expensive shielded field cabling. The compensating cable cost can be saved by using field field-mounted transmitters and signals over large distances can be transmitted more reliably and with less cost. Load capability for the transmitter can be enhanced by increasing D C P.S. Transmitter suppliers
